《犯罪心理》講述了美聯(lián)邦調(diào)查局總下屬的行為分科部門（簡稱BAU”）中，行為分析師葌山析最棘手的案，分析兇手的理和作案特征并在他們再次暴前預(yù)測出他的下一步行動協(xié)助當(dāng)?shù)鼐?拿兇手。本季期拍攝時，劇一貫以來的領(lǐng)人Hotch因?yàn)楹途巹〉臎_被劇組開除，此只會出現(xiàn)在季前兩集。為彌補(bǔ)主角的離，CBS將引入兩名新角色，時把Emily的扮演者PagetBrewster提升為本季常規(guī)演員，時Reid母親的扮演者JaneLynch也會在十二季回。
